Messung to showcase advanced building automation and T&M solutions

“After selling our factory automation business to MNC in May 2012, our core objective is to bring innovative and technologically advanced products to the Indian market,” says Farook Merchant, Chairman and Managing Director, Messung Group.
Aligning this objective, Messung has ventured into two business verticals: Building Automation and Controls division (where Messung is a master distributor in India for Distech Controls products based in Montreal, Canada) and other one is Testing, Measuring and Workplace Systems where Messung is a master distributor in India for ERFI GmBH, Germany. Messung plans to introduce and showcase its products from both these business verticals in the Elecrama 2016 exhibition.
Latest technology  on displayExplaining about the latest technology that will be displayed during Elecrama, Merchant comments, “In our building automation vertical we will showcase Implementation of IoT (Internet of Things) for remotely controlling and troubleshooting multiple buildings from central hub.” Messung will also showcase latest technology for energy management in HVAC and lighting and security and access.
In its Test, Measurement And Workplace System vertical, Messung will display two new latest products. These products are expected to take the testing and measuring industry to the next level in the Indian market. The products are:Elneos Connect: Advanced and reliable testing and measuring workplace systems, ergonomically designed with features like flexibility, versatility, light weight, expandable, adjustable and intelligent lighting.
Elneos Five: Intelligent test and measurement devise with five in one feature of, programmable power supply, digital multimeter, programmable function generator, power and energy measurement, arbitrary waveform function generator.
Business opportunitiesElecrama is a proven platform for business opportunities. There are large numbers of electrical engineers visiting Elecrama every year. EPC contractors, EPC consultants and engineering companies come in big teams to understand latest technology and products. “We will leverage this opportunity to showcase our products and technology from both, building automation and test and measurement verticals. This will also help us in increasing the momentum of our marketing and sales program,” says Merchant.
Industry performanceThe market is expected to grow to $ 100 bn by 2022 at a CAGR of 13 to 14 per cent as compare to current growth rate of CAGR 6 to 7 per cent. This is definitely an exceptional performance of the electrical equipment industry in India. “Since all the key industries are growing in India and electrical equipment plays major role in these industries further driving the long-term growth for electrical equipment industry,” Merchant observes.
