Sterling Generator is one of few OEMs who are having pan-India offerings with 17 branches and more than 150 dealers. The company has developed diesel gensets with 6.6 KV breaker and NGR panel inside the container with cooling system for 55 C ambient conditions. Sterling exports these sets to Middle East.
Silvasa plantSterling has Asia’s one of the largest manufacturing facilities in Silvasa with separate unit for DTA, EOU and panels up to 33 KV. The company is expanding this factory, and the facility will be operational soon.Expansion plansThe company has already launched products in the lower range, and now it is covering entire range starting from 10 KV to 3,000 KV. Sterling wants to be largest player in diesel gensets market in the next 5 years.
Revenue from exportExports account 10-12 per cent of its revenue. Sterling continues its focus on Middle-East and Africa markets.
