Terex AL4L LED light towers now equipped with ShorePlug Connector
Terex Aerial Work Platforms, a business segment of the Terex Corporation, has improved its LED light tower line with the introduction of the ShorePlug connector. Standard on all new Terex AL4L generator LED light towers, the ShorePlug connector allows multiple light towers to be connected in-line and operate from a single power source.
Terex LED light towers offer crisper lighting capabilities and consume less electrical power compared to 4,000W metal-halide models. The ShorePlug connector makes it quick and easy to take advantage of the power efficiency of these LED lights by safely and securely connecting multiple Terex AL4L light towers in-line to operate from a single Terex AL4L generator.
Powering multiple light towers with a single generator reduces fuel consumption and engine noise when compared to operating metal halide-light towers with individual generators.
“The ShorePlug connector is beneficial for jobsites that demand greater fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance,” said Chad Hislop, Light Tower Product Manager, Terex AWP. “With a 50,000-hour bulb life, the LED lights last five times longer than metal-halide lights. The LED towers have instant on/off operation. Low-light pollution and sharp side cut-off reduce road glare to motorists, making the LED light towers ideal across a wide range of applications.”
