Jayashree brings high-tech solutions at ELECRAMA

Jayashree Group is participating in the ELECRAMA exhibition since its inception in 1990. The company believes that it was the only best available platform to present its products related to electrical and electronic industry. “We have launched many new products in every show. We launched our solid state, microcontroller-based motor soft starters in 1990 in the first edition of ELECRAMA at Mumbai,” said Dhananjay Dabke, Managing Director, Jayashree Electron Pvt Ltd.

ELECRAMA, in his opinion, used to help buyers, users, consultants and students to get a first-hand exposure to new technologies. However, he said, “With easy access of knowledge and information on Internet, the importance of such tradeshows is decreasing every year. The local traffic jams and traveling problems are leading to less visitors every year.”

Losing the sparkle
Dabke further opines, “Due to heavy competition from international industries the show is becoming more of a decorative display stands rather than presenting new technologies and achievements. New emerging mass communication medias like websites, Facebook, Twitter etc are changing the need of such shows. The show is losing focus due to diversified new branches of technology in electrical and electronics. Also, due to continuously changing venue it is becoming more like a state-wise show rather than an international show.”

He points out, “We have not seen any new Indian entrepreneur coming up in last 5-6 years with new products or technology. Majority of display stands are representing a foreign company. Jayashree Group will observe the trend in the market and will announce new products by next year.”
