EVRE, Zyngo to Power 10,000 EVs with 5,000 EV chargers

The EVRE App will connect the 5,000 chargers to the rest of the EV ecosystem across the country.

 EVRE, India’s leading EV Charging Infrastructure player has announced a partnership with Zyngo, India’s greenest last-mile delivery provider for parking and charging infrastructure solution. Zyngo now has a 500+ vehicle fleet spread across ten locations and is working to expand to a 10,000-vehicle fleet. Within the next 24 months, EVRE will supply 5,000 electric vehicle charging stations across India, which will be used by Zyngo and other EV fleet owners.

Zyngo aims at leveraging the last-mile opportunities through geographical expansion and hence it will employ these chargers to enable last-mile extended access. EVRE on the other side, will design, manufacture and execute the operation and maintenance of the EV charging infrastructure. EVRE owns and operates all the technology for charging stations, both existing and expected ones. As part of this partnership, Zyngo will integrate demand aggregation, supply optimisation, connectivity to charging infrastructure, and support EVRE determine where to install charging stations for better utilisation.

Such collaborations will allow the EV fleet operators to focus on managing their core functional operations as charging infrastructure players manage the fleet with efficient and adjacent infrastructure.

During the first phase of partnership, EVRE will support Zyngo with 500 charging stations for its EV fleet of 500EVs. EVRE will lease the land, provide the parking and charging infrastructure, operate & maintain, and take care of the insurance, safety and security of these hubs.  Over the next few months, as Zyngo expands to new cities, EVRE will provide the support to park and charge this dedicated EV fleet with its existing and upcoming infrastructure at respective locations.

The 5,000 chargers will be integrated with the rest of the EV ecosystem across the country through the EVRE App.  This will enable 2W &3W Zyngo fleet operators with slow and fast unmanned smart chargers that are capable of metering, billing and payment collection
