How does expanding your solar panel and PV cell manufacturing capacity strengthen India’s self-reliance on clean energy?

To reinforce our leadership in the Indian renewable energy sector, we aim to expand solar panel manufacturing capacity to 10 GW by 2030. Additionally, we plan to establish a Solar PV Cell unit with 1.2 GW capacity by 2026, scaling up to 2.4 GW with another phase by 2027. At the heart of our operations is a fully automated, cutting-edge manufacturing facility, ensuring world-class standards in quality and precision. We manufacture BIS-certified, IEC-certified, and ALMM-listed solar panels in both DCR (Domestic Content Requirement) and Non-DCR variants to meet diverse customer needs. These initiatives highlight our commitment to enhancing India’s self-reliance in solar energy while contributing to the global clean energy movement.

How do your solar solutions meet diverse energy needs across residential, commercial, rural and utility sectors?

Our solar solutions are designed to address the diverse energy needs across sectors. For homeowners, we offer reduced electricity bills and greater energy independence. In the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment, businesses from factories to retail outlets benefit through cost savings and sustainability. In rural areas, solar-powered irrigation pumps and rural electrification projects empower farmers and remote communities. Utility-scale solar parks further boost India’s renewable energy capacity, supporting a cleaner, more sustainable future for communities and industries alike.

How does your Supremo Series and upcoming solar cell unit enhance energy efficiency and performance?

Icon Solar’s product portfolio is a testament to our dedication to technological advancement and quality. Our high-efficiency solar panels include: TOP MAXIMUS (600-620 Wp), TOP SUPREMO (560-590 Wp), MAXIMUS (560-590 Wp), SUPREMO (520-555 Wp), OPTIMUS (500-510 Wp) and DYNAMO (420-460 Wp). These panels are built with high-conversion efficiency cells, anti-reflective coatings and robust durability, ensuring maximum energy generation and longevity.

One of the most innovative products in our portfolio is the Supremo Series (520-555 WP, 144 Cells). These panels deliver high power output ranging from 520 to 555 watts, ensuring maximum efficiency for various energy needs. Equipped with 144 half-cut mono PERC cells, with a manufacturing warranty of 12 years and 27 years of performance warranty. Our N-Type TOPCon panel range starts from 560 wp to 590 wp , ensuring maximum efficiency for various needs. Equipped with 144 half cut TOPCon cells, It incorporate advanced technology for superior performance with a 12 years of manufacturing & 30 years of performance warranty.Engineered for durability and reliability, it can withstand extreme weather conditions. The panel’s design enhances energy yield, optimising power generation and reducing energy costs. These panels are ideal for utility-scale projects, commercial installations and industrial applications, ensuring sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions.

Beyond solar panels, we are venturing into solar cell manufacturing, with plans to establish a 1.2 GW production line by 2026 and double it to 2.4 GW by 2027. This initiative reinforces our dedication to renewable energy self-reliance.
