The new solar facility will support a portion of the plant’s energy needs and reduce its carbon footprint.  The expanded tube mill capacity will enhance the company’s ability to manufacture steel products  such as MS and Gl pipes, which are in growing demand across sectors. The project represents BMW  Industries’ approach towards scaling responsibly, combining growth with long-term sustainability.

Harsh Bansal, Managing Director, BMW Industries said, “We are pleased to start operations of the new tube mills at our Jamshedpur plant. This addition aligns with our long-term growth strategy and supports our focus on increasing output to meet market needs. The solar rooftop installation is part of our efforts to reduce dependency on non-renewable sources and manage energy use more effectively. These steps are in line with our ESG vision and will help in building a more efficient and responsible manufacturing setup. We thank all teams involved in making this milestone possible and remain committed to steady progress.”
