Hartek secures a ₹138 crore grid project in Karnataka

Hartek has been awarded a contract worth ₹138 crore for the development of the 400 kV AIS Substation Package SS-66T in Karnataka. The contract is part of the transmission scheme for the integration of Davanagere/Chitradurga and Ballari Renewable Energy Zone (REZ).
HARTEK, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company in the power & renewable infrastructure sector, has been awarded a significant contract worth ₹138 crore.
The award pertains to the development of the 400 kV AIS Substation Package SS-66T, associated with the Transmission Scheme for integration of Davanagere/Chitradurga and Ballari Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) in Karnataka, through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route.
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (POWERGRID) awarded the contract, underlining Hartek’s leadership and execution capabilities in India’s critical transmission infrastructure projects. The scope of work involves design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing at the manufacturer’s works, supply (including transportation and insurance), unloading, storage, erection, testing, and commissioning—ensuring turnkey delivery of the 400 kV AIS substation.
