Cooper Corporation and Sinfonia Technology partner to introduce LPG genset

Cooper’s lean-burn gas engine developed in collaboration with Ricardo of UK will power the model CSG-0010L-IN known as ‘Daimon’ in India and ‘Satara’ in Japan.
Cooper Corporation has partnered with Sinfonia Technology to introduce India’s first CPCB IV+ certified 10 kVA LPG genset, named ‘Daimon Genset’ which will be manufactured at Satara in Maharashtra and jointly marketed in India and overseas markets.
Cooper’s lean-burn gas engine developed in collaboration with Ricardo of UK will power the model CSG-0010L-IN known as ‘Daimon’ in India and ‘Satara’ in Japan. Features include an Electronic Engine Management System isochronous governing and a compact V-twin 2-cylinder engine. The genset runs on LPG and complies with India’s most recent emission standards.
Farrokh N. Cooper, Chairman and MD of Cooper Corporation said, “This partnership represents a shift towards alternative energy sources.”The product will be delivered across Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The alliance combines Indian manufacturing and Japanese engineering. The generator is designed for microgrids, institutions, retail and industrial applications. Cooper Corporation will head manufacturing while both companies will handle distribution.
