Juniper Green Energy completes 217 MWp Chapalgaon Solar PV Project

18 months ahead of time the firm has commissioned additional 71 MWp to the existing Chapalgaon solar project in Maharashtra that provides power to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited.
Juniper Green Energy Limited (“Juniper Green Energy”) announces the commissioning of an additional 71 MWp at its solar power project in Chapalgaon, Maharashtra which supplies power to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Ray Two Private Limited. This marks the completion of the entire 217 MWp Chapalgaon Solar PV Project.
With this, Juniper Green Energy has commissioned the project seamlessly across two phases—145.99 MWp on 22 May 2025, followed by 71 MWp on 23 June 2025—achieving full capacity within just four months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This execution brings the entire project online nearly 18 months ahead of its scheduled commissioning date.
