The French giant is set to acquire remaining 35 percent stake of Schneider Electric India (SEIPL) from Temasek in an all-cash deal worth ₹55,880 crore taking the full ownership of the Indian subsidiary.
Schneider Electric will acquire the remaining 35 percent of Schneider Electric India (SEIPL) from Temasek in an all-cash agreement valued at 5.5 billion euros (₹55,880 crore), achieving full ownership of the Indian subsidiary. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions including the necessary regulatory approvals from authorities such as the Competition Commission of India and is expected to be completed in the coming quarters.
