RECPDCL hands over transmission SPV to G R infraprojects

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) handed over a project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of the Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission Limited to M/s G R Infraprojects Limited on 29th September 2025.
REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, the Maharatna CPSU under the aegis of the Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, handed over a project-specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) of the ISTS Transmission Project under the TBCB route, viz., Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission Limited, to M/s G R Infraprojects Limited on 29th September 2025.
M/s G R Infraprojects Limited emerged as the Transmission Service Provider (TSP) through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process conducted by RECPDCL, the Bid Process Coordinator, for the development of the transmission project on a Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) basis.
The SPV was handed over by T.S.C. Bosh, CEO, RECPDCL, to Saurabh Kaushik, Business Head – Power T&D, G R Infraprojects Limited, in the presence of senior officials of RECPDCL, G R Infraprojects Limited and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited. The implementation period of the project is 24 months.The scheme covers the establishment of 2×500 MVA, 400/220 kV S/s at Handiya, 400 kV Double Circuit Lines (650 km approx.), and augmentation at Pachora PS & Neemuch PS along with the installation of line bays and bus reactors.
