The 640 Wp R-Series modules are designed to deliver high-efficiency performance, enabling greater energy yield within the same land area, making them ideal for EPCs and developers looking to maximise returns.
Gautam Solar has received ALMM (Approved List of Models and Manufacturers) and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) approvals for its high-wattage 640 Wp R-Series TOPCon solar modules. With this recognition, Gautam Solar became one of the few companies in India to achieve these approvals for the 640 Wp R-Series modules.
The 640 Wp R-Series modules are designed to deliver high-efficiency performance, enabling greater energy yield within the same land area, making them ideal for EPCs and developers looking to maximise returns. As one of India’s higher-wattage offerings, these modules are specifically developed for next-generation solar plants, empowering large-scale solar projects with reliable, high-performance technology.
Key Features of 640 Wp TOPCon Modules:
Highest peak power & module efficiency: The R-Series module attains best-in-class peak output of 640 Wp and boasts a module-level efficiency of up to 23.69 per cent, positioning it ahead of most competing modules in its category.
Superior power density & area yield: Because of its high wattage and efficiency, the 640 Wp module can generate more energy per square metre compared to lower-wattage modules — enabling better area utilisation and higher output from the same footprint.
Reduced LCOE and optimised BOS: The high-power, high-efficiency design leads to lower Balance-of-System (BOS) cost per watt and contributes to a reduction in Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE).Ideal for utility/large-scale projects: The panel is engineered to be especially suitable for ground-mounted and utility-scale solar farms, where land availability, yield per area, and cost competitiveness matter most.
Bankable long-term reliability: The module retains the advantages of N-type TOPCon technology—minimal LID/LeTID, lower degradation rates, bifacial gain potential (up to ~30 per cent), and superior performance under elevated temperature conditions.
Gautam Solar will be showcasing the 640 Wp R-Series modules at the REI Expo 2025 (India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, 30th October – 1st November, Hall 11, Booth R-312), allowing visitors to experience the latest in high-efficiency solar technology firsthand.
Gautam Mohanka, Director of Gautam Solar, said, “Achieving ALMM and BIS approvals for our 640 Wp R-Series modules is a major validation of our engineering, quality and manufacturing excellence. We are committed to not only adhering to the highest quality and compliance standards set by the Government of India but also going beyond them in our offerings to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and advance India’s goal of becoming a world leader in solar power production.”
These approvals have enabled Gautam Solar to contribute to the government’s ambitious renewable energy and sustainability goals and assist it in becoming a leader in solar power production.
