IREDA introduces Vigilance Week 2025 promoting integrity and collective responsibility

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has launched Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, focusing on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with the administration of the Integrity Pledge by Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director, and Chief Guest Ashok Kumar, Chief Technical Examiner, Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). The theme for this year’s observance is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”.
Pradip Kumar Das said, “Vigilance plays a key and critical role in ensuring the sustainability of any organisation and fostering a culture of healthy learning.” Vigilance is essential for institutional growth in a disciplined manner and for maintaining the health of the economy. IREDA has been consistently enhancing transparency through IT-driven systems and online operations.”
Das also encouraged employees to actively participate in the week-long observance from October 27 to November 2, which will feature workshops, seminars and competitions to reinforce the spirit of integrity.In his address, Ashok Kumar appreciated IREDA’s commitment towards inclusive development and reiterated that vigilance is a shared responsibility of all.
On this occasion, the latest edition of IREDA’s in-house vigilance journal, ‘Pahal’, was released by Pradip Kumar Das, CMD; Ashok Kumar, CTE, CVC; Dr Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Director (Finance); and Ajay Kumar Sahani, Chief Vigilance Officer. IREDA employees joined the event through a virtual platform, ensuring active participation from across locations.
