Limited edition new high-quality thermal imager Testo 869 at an affordable price for every engineer and technician contractor
Thermal cameras are devices that translate thermal energy (heat) into visible light in order to analyse a particular object or scene. Though this instrument has proved out to be the ultimate solution for any application/facility, yet it costs premium to offer the services. Considering the high cost involvements in procuring a thermal camera, Testo has taken a step ahead to provide the same high resolution thermal imaging, for which Testo is known, at a considerably low cost.
The heart of the new thermal imager Testo 869 is a high-quality detector with 160 x 120 pixels that makes 19,200 individual temperature measurement points which never miss an anomaly. The smallest temperature differences are made visible thanks to a thermal resolution of less than 120 mK or 0.121 C. The Testo 869 fits well into your hand and can be easily and intuitively operated. This allows heating and air conditioning/ventilation installations or electrical switching cabinets, for example, to be tested quickly and easily. The product is designed for practical use and is based on the proven product series testo 870 which was honoured with the German Design Award 2016.The Testo 869 additionally offers a wide field of view, which is useful particularly for thermography indoors, as the spatial conditions restrict the distance it is possible to stand from the measurement object. The standard lens (focus-free 34-degree lens) quickly records a large image section, and thus allows an ideal overview of the temperature distribution of the entire measurement object. Critical temperature conditions are directly displayed using automatic hot-cold-spot recognition.
The pro software for image evaluation on a PC is new in this price class. Optionally, thermal images can also be saved directly in the instrument as a JPEG and sent to the client as documentation.
