Nuclear renaissance begins with INE expo

The 9th edition of India Nuclear Energy (INE) expo being organised today and tomorrow in Mumbai for the civil nuclear energy domain is exclusively dedicated to supporting and promoting the civil energy industry in the country.
Today (Day 1) the exhibition saw eminent dignitaries from the industry who shared the information through insightful conferences on the theme: Nuclear Renaissance in India-Power Generation along with panel discussion on Manufacturing and Supply Chain etc. Also the exhibitors showcased latest offerings and technologies as well as gained direct access to end used from NPCIL and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Similarly the show provided opportunities for domestic and international companies to interact and network with comprehensive country pavilions from Russia and South Korea, corporate from the civil nuclear energy fraternity in India to tap the huge potential of nuclear sector.
In addition, tomorrow (Day 2) will witness conference on Non-Power Application of Nuclear Energy, Experience sharing by plant operators and Radiation Technology: Awareness and Acceptance etc.
INE which is co-organised and supported by DAE (Department of Atomic Energy) and NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd) has participants over 65 exhibitors with a brand new sector namely the Non-Power Application of Nuclear Energy.
