Eplan design challenge 2025 – A signature experience within Eplan Network 2025

As one of the most anticipated highlights of the event, the Eplan Design Challenge 2025 invites working professionals, corporate teams and students to put their skills to the test. This competition celebrates technical precision, innovation and mastery of Eplan’s powerful engineering software, all within the broader ecosystem of Eplan Network 2025.

Challenge requirements:

 Participants must create an Eplan project aligned with IEC or NFPA standards, including:

• System architecture or machine overview
• Detailed single-line diagrams (SLD) for electrical distribution
• Incomer and energy monitoring circuits
• Distribution schematics for power and control voltages
• Motor, feeder, and VFD power/control circuit diagrams
• PLC card overview with I/O schematics and field connections
• Main and outgoing general arrangement sketches (IGA and OGA) in 2D or 3D

Auto-generated reports: wiring lists, terminal diagrams, BOM, and parts lists.

Projects must be created using Eplan Electric P8 (any version) and optionally integrate Eplan Pro-panel, Fluid or Harness ProD for enhanced detailing. Submissions include at least 10 schematic pages, fully annotated with wire numbering, terminal and cable data and precise component specifications.
