Andy has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to customer collaboration throughout his career. Andy most recently held the position of OEM sales director, where he supervised Perkins’ agricultural and material handling initiatives in addition to leading the worldwide OEM team through a successful EU Stage V introduction.
“I’m thrilled to be taking on the challenge of this new role and growing a team of experienced professionals who are focused on working with customers to deliver the right solutions for the future. Perkins is strategically positioned to help OEMs through the energy transition. I look forward to spending time with our customers to help solve their challenges.” said Andy.
During many of the major trade fairs this year, including ConExpo-Con/Agg in March, where Perkins will be displaying its 48V and 300V lithium-ion battery configurations, the new customer solutions and sales director will also be available to meet with prospective clients. Many clients are also curious about how Perkins’ comprehensive integrated powertrain resources could assist them in launching development initiatives and bringing products to market faster by utilising our extra skill sets and knowledge.
James Reed has been given a promotion to the post of director of global OEM sales. James, who first joined the OEM sales team in 2019 as the OEM sales manager, will be in charge of managing the global OEM sales team.
James has had a number of positions inside the company over the course of his career where he has demonstrated great leadership while ensuring that customers’ needs for products and services are addressed. In addition, James represents the company in several SAE International and other prominent industry organizations.
James said. “I’m delighted to be asked to lead Perkins’ OEM sales group. Having worked with many of our current OEMs in previous roles, my focus will continue to be on ensuring we collaborate closely with our customers around the globe.”
According to James, serving the needs of the consumer comes first. The important worldwide OEM clients will be given the products, services, and solutions they require from us, and he, along with his team and the company, will be spending time with them and listening to their requirements.
