Top Commercial and Industrial Partners Collaborate with Solar Providers at Mercom’s Clean Energy Meet in Navi Mumbai to Pave the Way for Cost Reductions

Mercom India, a leading global clean energy communication, consulting, and research firm recognised for its expertise in renewable energy, is hosting the C&I Clean Energy Meet in Navi Mumbai at the Ramada Hotel on May 18, 2023.

Understanding how to leverage renewables for energy demand will be crucial in the coming years, as Maharashtra has set an ambitious target of installing 2 GW of rooftop solar by 2025. The state ranks second in India for grid-connected rooftop solar installations, accounting for 14 percent of the country’s total as of December 2022. It also ranks second for open-access solar installations, accounting for 12 percent of India’s total.

Across India, C&I customers with large power requirements are plagued with mounting power bills, especially in Maharastra. The government has outlined a multi-year tariff structure so C&I businesses can have long-term clarity about what kind of charges they can expect.

The day-long C&I Clean Energy Meet is designed to foster collaboration between C&I companies and leading renewable energy solution providers and will feature panel sessions and case studies that will deliver practical, real-world case studies from C&I companies that have shifted to renewable energy, along with ROI analysis and performance metrics.

C&I companies and large corporates attending the Navi Mumbai event include Tata Consultancy Services, FDC India, Sun Pharma, Apcotex Industries, and Hindustan Lever. The event is supported by TTC-MIDC Industries Association, SME Chamber of India, and industry leaders such as LONGi Solar, Jinko Solar, and Ginlong (Solis) Technologies to promote the education of C&I facility owners and operators about their choices for clean energy adoption.
