Gurugram and the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, (CSIR-IICT), Hyderabad have partnered to create a rechargeable aluminium battery (RAB). In the presence of Amlan Kanti Das, Senior Vice President, Abhishek Choudhury, IP & Technology Consultant, Dr. D. Shailaja, Chief Scientist & Chair, Business Development & Research Management, Dr. J. Vatsala Rani, Principal Scientist, and Dr. Pratyay Basak, Sr. Principal Scientist from CSIR-IICT, and Preeti Bajaj, MD. Energy storage systems for solar and inverter applications are a specialty of Luminous Power Technologies. Over the years, the company has developed a robust product range for power backup solutions, including the most recent introduction of innovative lead-acid gel batteries.
