DCR 520 Wp 10BB Mono Half-Cut Solar Modules are introduced by Gautam Solar at Elecrama 2023.
Gautam Solar debuts cutting-edge DCR 520 Wp 10BB Mono Half-cut solar modules at the 15th Elecrama (World’s Largest Electrical and Allied Electronics Show) at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to accelerate the nation’s adoption of clean energy.Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) panels are solar panels or modules that have solar cells and solar modules that are locally produced in India, according to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
The mono DCR modules from Gautam Solar are intended for ground-mounted and rooftop installations, and they are designed to deliver high efficiency in power generation to the utility-scale, commercial and industrial (C&I), and residential sectors.
Gautam Mohanka, Director of Gautam Solar Private Limited, said, “The new range of DCR mono modules is a testament to the company’s firm commitment towards providing top quality solar solutions and services to the customers. We will continue to innovate and develop new and advanced products and technologies to meet the growing demand for clean and renewable energy. We are looking forward to working with existing and new clients and partners to provide sustainable solar energy solutions to power homes and businesses across the country.”
For specific projects that MNRE is promoting, such as residential projects with any type of subsidy and CPSU schemes for greater than 12000 MW, DCR solar panels are mandated to be used. According to the government’s directive, the high-quality and high-performance DCR mono modules of Gautam Solar are created utilising mono M10 solar cells that are entirely manufactured in India.
The DCR 520 Wp Mono modules’ standout characteristics include larger M10 cells for higher power generation, multi-busbar technology for lower electrical losses, round ribbon connectors for better light utilisation, bifacial PERC technology for power generation from both sides, non-destructive laser-based cell cutting for higher reliability and fewer chances of micro-cracks, and half-cut cell technology for better low-light performance.
