Hitesh Doshi receives the Global Solar Leadership title at SNEC 2024

Awarded for his outstanding contributions to solar industrial progress and recognised for advancing the solar industry worldwide.

Hitesh Chimanlal Doshi, Chairman and Managing Director of Waaree Energies Limited, India’s largest solar PV module manufacturer with a 12 GW capacity as of June 30, 2023 (source: CRISIL Report), has been honoured with the Global Solar Leaders Award 2024. The prestigious accolade is presented at the SNEC 17th International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Exhibition and Conference in Shanghai, China, held from June 13–15, 2024.

Doshi expressed gratitude, stating, “I am deeply humbled to receive this recognition, which reflects personal achievement and underscores Waaree Energies’ commitment to innovation and sustainability.” He attributed the award to the collective efforts of the Waaree family and highlighted its significance for the Indian solar industry’s global stature.
