Former leaders inspire with insights, shaping the roadmap for renewable energy’s future.
On the occasion of “Public Sector Day”, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) hosted a special event, bringing together its predecessors and retired employees to celebrate the organisation’s legacy and set a course for future success. The event saw enthusiastic participation from most of the superannuated employees, including former CMDs and Directors, who gathered to reminisce and share valuable insights for the company’s future path.
The occasion provided a platform for esteemed veterans to share their experiences and offer advice for IREDA’s continued journey. Former CMDs and Directors praised IREDA’s rapid growth and commended the management’s comprehensive approach to fostering business success and ensuring the well-being of its workforce, including retired employees.
IREDA CMD Pradip Kumar Das commented on the event’s significance, stating, “This gathering is crucial as it honors the contributions of our valued predecessors and retired colleagues, and emphasises our dedication to promoting a culture of inclusivity and collaboration. Their wealth of experience and insights is a valuable asset that will continue to guide us in navigating the changing landscape of renewable energy development. Our growth story is not just about numbers and accomplishments; it is about the people who have laid the foundation for our success. We appreciate the wisdom and guidance of our predecessors, and we aim to lead IREDA to new heights with the same spirit of excellence and collaboration.”
A standout of the celebration was the Hasya Kavi Sammelan, offering moments of humor and camaraderie and adding to the celebratory mood. The audience was captivated by the meaningful messages in the poetry of Manisha Shukla, Chirag Jain, and Sunder Kataria. The event, held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, showcased IREDA’s dedication to fostering a sense of community and continuity among its staff.
Director (Finance) Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Independent Director Ram Nishal Nishad, Chief Vigilance Officer Ajay Kumar Sahani, and other senior officials attended the event, while IREDA officials at branch offices participated virtually.
