Occurring twice a year, LED Expo is a major event showcasing the entire value chain of lighting products and components in India. The show that was previously planned to take place from September 2020 has been rescheduled in adherence to the advisory measures that are still in place by the Indian government. The show will now open its doors from 6 – 8 May 2021 in hall 4 at Bombay Exhibition Center, Mumbai.
The magnitude and significance of LED Expo Mumbai attracts fair-attendees from different parts of India and abroad. Considering the present status, exhibition organisers Messe Frankfurt India Pvt Ltd are still looking for a green signal from the government to restart exhibitions in the country and other vital segments like international travel. A decision taken after close consultation with industry experts was well supported by exhibitors and stakeholders. This will also enable the lighting sector to regain its strength and provide adequate time for companies to study future demands, develop new products, strengthen supply chains and restore business for the overall lighting market in India.
“Our show, LED Expo Mumbai is an important event in the business calendars of our stakeholders, and every year, the lighting industry eagerly waits to meet and network at our platform. I believe that by May 2021 we will have a far more stable health situation along with a healthy business environment,” shared Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd.
