Electricity is one of the major issues in rural India having multiple barriers restricting it from connecting every Indian household. Some of the reasons are non-affordability of electricity, heavy load-shedding and power cuts, electricity transformer problems due to natural calamities and so on. Solving these problems through repair or replacement takes a lot of time, say, around 3-4 months, until which the village suffers in the dark. Lack of electricity, water, street lights and other basic necessities pull back or drastically slow down growth and development, thereby increasing poverty among the underprivileged people.
