MNRE inaugurates underground cabling project in Haridwar

Power Finance Corporation is the nodal agency for IPDS scheme of the Government of India under which the UG cabling project in Haridwar has been completed.

R.K. Singh, Minister of State (IC) Power and New & Renewable Energy along with Tirath Singh Rawat, Chief Minister, Uttarakhand inaugurated the underground cabling project at the Kumbh area in Haridwar through video conferencing.

The project is implemented under the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) and is commissioned by Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited. The inauguration ceremony was part of ‘Bharat ka Amrut Mahotsav’ celebrations marks 75 years of India’s independence.
