However, challenges remain, particularly with transparent back sheet variants experiencing significant degradation, primarily attributed to filling factor and short circuit current issues. To address concerns regarding front-side contact corrosion, experts recommend using polyolefin elastomer encapsulants, ensuring long-term performance and stability.

Ultraviolet-induced degradation poses a potential threat to solar cell longevity, particularly for advanced cell architectures like TOPCON. Rayzon Solar has implemented UV-blocking encapsulants to mitigate this risk, safeguarding the integrity of its TOPCon modules. Similarly, potential-induced degradation presents challenges, especially in hot and humid climates. Rayzon Solar’s TOPCon modules are designed to withstand PID effects, with rapid recovery mechanisms to counteract degradation.
