Schneider Electric appoints Arvind Kakru VP of industrial automation for greater India zone

With over 28 years of extensive experience, Arvind has demonstrated strong fiscal, strategic, and operational leadership throughout his career.

Schneider Electric, the global leader in digital transformation of energy management and next-gen automation, has appointed Arvind Kakru as the Vice President of Industrial Automation for the Greater India Zone. With over 28 years of extensive experience, Arvind has demonstrated strong fiscal, strategic, and operational leadership throughout his career.

At Schneider Electric, he will lead the Industrial Automation, Process Automation, and Controls & Automation businesses. He will work closely with the Line of Business heads, Commercial & Strategic Segments team, and International Operations Teams, being responsible for driving market share expansion and identifying new growth opportunities.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Arvind held pivotal roles at esteemed organisations like Rockwell Automation and GE. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from NIT, Durgapur. At Schneider Electric, he will be based out of the Gurgaon office and will report directly to Deepak Sharma, Zone President- Greater India, MD & CEO, Schneider Electric India, and be part of the India Management Team.
