Servotech power systems secures major orders for EV chargers, fuels India’s E-Mobility revolution

Leading manufacturer to deploy 4700 units, valued at 333 crores, accelerating sustainable transportation infrastructure.

Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a leading manufacturer of EV chargers in India, has secured an order of 1400 DC fast EV chargers from Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and other EV charger OEMs, valued at 111 crores. This order entails two charger variants: 60 kW and 120 kW. For the IOCL order, Servotech will handle manufacturing, supply, and installation of DC EV chargers nationwide, with priority given to deployment at Indian Oil petrol pumps and other designated locations. Furthermore, Servotech will manufacture and supply the remaining chargers to other EV charger OEMs. This strategic move is pivotal in promoting decarbonised mobility and addressing the evolving requirements of EV charging infrastructure.

Recently, Servotech also secured a 1500-unit order of DC Fast EV chargers from HPCL and OEMs, along with an additional order of 1800 DC EV chargers from BPCL. Consequently, the cumulative number of EV charger orders from oil marketing companies and EV charger OEMs now totals 4700 units, with a combined value of 333 crores.

Servotech is dedicated to completing the installation of all these chargers by the end of FY 2024-25. To meet this commitment, Servotech plans to deploy 5 percent of the 4700 units of DC EV chargers by March 31st, 2024. Additionally, the company will also fulfill the deployment of the 2649 AC EV chargers ordered by BPCL by the same deadline.
