Kyoritsu 6024PV: for PV insulation testing

Kyoritsu Japan has now shared a product details for the solar industry to aid India’s dream of renewable energy target of 100 GW of solar power by 2022. Measurements for PV is needed, when the system is newly installed and needs to be maintained .

Kyoritsu 6024PV is a 4 in 1 extremely handy tool which can do PV insulation, insulation, earth testing, and voltage measurement all in one. That’s not all, it has a timer for PV insulation testing with logging and PC interface for record keeping too. Kyoritsu 6024PV accurately measures insulation resistance even if the PV arrays are generating power. You do not need to short circuit the PV arrays or test at night to measure the Insulation resistance.

Earth resistance measurements with volt-amperometric method at 3 and 2 pole are possible too. Waterproof design (IP54) can enable measurement in bad weather conditions and onboard memory logging for up to 1000 data sets. Luminescence buttons and large backlight display for ease of use in dim lit areas. Elapsed time, after starting a measurement, is displayed with the measured values. It is extremely compact and light weight. Uniquely developed carry case and test probe with a remote control switch is supplied as standard accessory. Auto-discharge with voltage display and the measured value ensures complete operator safety. Data transfer and analysis to a PC is possible by using software included in the set.
