ECE India to revolutionise solar industry through channel partner programme
.

Our product portfolio is extensive, spanning from small modules to large 585 BIS-certified solar modules.

Embracing a bright future in India’s solar industry, Aniket Tondare, Director- Distribution Sales, ECE India shares insights with EPR Magazine about a game-changing ecosystem, strategic partnerships, and ambitious manufacturing expansion, all aimed at powering sustainable growth.

What is the focus and vision of ECE India, and how do your products and certifications contribute to growth in the solar technology sector?

Our extensive product range spans from small modules to large 585 BIS-certified solar modules, and we strictly adhere to the highest industry standards, boasting certifications like BIS, IEC, and ALM. Our primary focus is serving our nation and providing the necessary certifications to support government initiatives in India, a testament to our dedication to contributing to India’s progress.

India’s solar industry holds immense potential, with China’s decreasing dominance and growing international interest in India resulting in a surge of inquiries and collaboration requests. It is common for us to receive queries from international delegates seeking solar modules. The future of India’s solar energy sector looks exceedingly promising. As an organisation, we are committed to advancing the nation’s renewable energy sector, actively participating in fulfilling government requirements and aiding India in becoming a global leader in solar technology.

Our products, certifications, and unwavering commitment to quality align with India’s solar growth trajectory. We are excited to play a significant role in shaping this bright and promising future.

What is the significance of the channel partner program in India’s power management initiative, and how is the company evolving itself in the solar industry?

ECE India’s channel partner program is a cornerstone of our ambitious initiatives. We are deeply committed to providing unwavering support to system integrators, middle-tier integrators, and those encountering challenges in lead generation and marketing efforts. The ECE India channel partner program empowers these businesses by offering comprehensive support, including training, awareness building, marketing assistance, lead generation, and landing support. A significant milestone in this journey is the introduction of a user-friendly ecosystem designed to benefit all our channel partners and distributors, marking a significant leap forward in our mission to uplift these essential stakeholders.

Our venture into the solar industry began in 2015, even though our formal establishment dates back to 2009. The early days were marked by numerous challenges, with lead generation being a particularly critical issue. We swiftly recognised that an inadequate pipeline could jeopardise the entire business, affecting cash flow and growth. Furthermore, many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often view marketing as an expense rather than an investment. However, looking at where we stand today, we understand that marketing is not merely a cost but an investment in a brighter future.

Our mission revolves around transforming the mindset of all system integrators, shifting their perception from expense to investment. To realize this vision, we have meticulously crafted our channel partner program to address the unique challenges faced by these integrators. Each program facet is thoughtfully designed to alleviate these challenges, drive business growth, and contribute to their success. In our channel partner program, every element is geared towards achieving profitability and ensuring that our partners thrive. Our goal is to equip them with effective strategies, high-quality products, and access to significant business opportunities. This program is more than just a concept; it represents our steadfast commitment to their prosperity.

What strategic partnership have you formed for developing the ECE ecosystem?

We have strategically partnered with Ahasolar to develop our ecosystem app, harnessing their expertise to power our efforts. This partnership marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we express our gratitude for this valuable collaboration. Additionally, we have established a pivotal partnership with an experienced entrepreneur, Piyush, who has contributed invaluable technological insights. We deeply appreciate his support and knowledge, which have played a crucial role in bringing our ecosystem to life.

These partnerships are poised to substantially enhance the return on investment (ROI) for our product. Regarding collaborating with channel partners, we’ve taken a user-friendly approach. Our app adoption process has been streamlined, eliminating the need for any initial investments on their part. Instead, channel partners can harness the power of our application to streamline their business operations, freeing up time for focused business development. This approach minimizes barriers to entry and fosters a collaborative ecosystem.

Looking ahead, we have exciting plans on the horizon. In addition to the ecosystem we’ve introduced, we are expanding our manufacturing capabilities. We are on the brink of launching a new factory in Amravati with a capacity of 250 megawatts, and we are actively exploring the possibility of expanding it to 500 MW. Furthermore, we remain committed to reaching 1.1 GW by 2025. As for investment details, we anticipate announcing the figures closer to March 24, considering the market’s volatility.

What is the key focus of the ECE ecosystem, and how does it aim to benefit EPC companies and end consumers?

Our ecosystem app has been meticulously crafted to streamline and optimize routine operations, resulting in heightened efficiency and significantly reduced errors associated with manual processes. Recognizing the inherent frustrations and potential pitfalls of manual procedures, our ecosystem’s implementation revolves around establishing a comprehensive record of all operations. This strategic approach facilitates efficient data management and analysis. Serving as the cornerstone of our development strategy, this standardized platform caters to a wide range of functions, encompassing permissions, monitoring, and ERP applications. The result is a seamless flow of information, benefiting EPC companies and end consumers.

Accessibility is a key aspect of our design. We’ve ensured that our application is available across various platforms, including iOS, Android, and desktop. Security remains our top priority, and we have implemented robust measures to safeguard data. All data is securely stored on dedicated, encrypted servers, effectively protecting against external threats. Our substantial investments in securing user-related information and transactions underscore our commitment to preserving the confidentiality of sensitive data.

Our application is in a trial phase, boasting an impressive user base ranging from 10,000 to 12,000 users. Within this group, we have approximately 4,000 to 5,000 paid users already experiencing our ecosystem’s benefits. We anticipate that as more users come to appreciate our platform’s value and efficiency, these numbers will continue to swell.

EPC companies often grapple with multifaceted roles that can lead to inefficiencies and operational challenges. Our application directly confronts these issues by simplifying and automating processes, saving time and resources for companies handling diverse responsibilities. By trimming soft costs, automating paperwork, and enhancing analytics, our technology empowers EPC companies and channel partners to focus on their core activities, such as solar installations and sales. This shift in focus enables them to operate with enhanced efficiency and effectiveness, benefiting the entire industry.
