With decades of expertise in power management innovation, Delta offer solutions designed to keep data centres running 24/7.
In the changing scenario where demand for power in data centres has increased, reliable and efficient energy management has become a necessity. Here, Delta Electronics is playing a major role by redefining resilience and sustainability with advanced UPS and DC innovations. Pankaj Singh shares that they are enabling seamless, clean and intelligent energy solutions for data centres. Let us hear more.
How does Delta Electronics ensure uninterrupted data centre uptime despite unpredictable energy sources and grid fluctuations?
In today’s digital-first economy, uninterrupted connectivity is the lifeline of every business. Yet, in regions where power grids are strained or renewable energy sources fluctuate, ensuring data centre uptime is a real challenge. This is where Delta Electronics steps in. With decades of expertise in power management innovation, we offer solutions designed to keep data centres running 24/7, regardless of the energy landscape’s unpredictability.
Specialities in our offerings include the built-in resilience. Delta’s modular UPS systems and redundant designs guarantee that operations never hinge on a single power source. Even during outages, seamless backup ensures zero disruption.
As businesses embrace solar and wind energy, Delta is ready for a renewables system that smooths out fluctuations, blending clean power with stability and efficiency.
For smarter monitoring, our offerings predict issues before they occur. The advanced analytics and real-time monitoring predict issues that help to transform downtime risks into operational confidence.
Speaking of global reliability and local strength. Whether in a bustling metro or a developing region with weaker grids, our solutions are built to adapt and deliver consistent performance.
Our mission is to empower data centres with sustainable, intelligent and reliable energy systems that fuel the digital future. From stabilising grid fluctuations to integrating renewable energy seamlessly, we are redefining reliability for the data-driven world.
How do Delta’s UPS innovations enhance power resilience and sustainability for both hyperscale and edge data centres? As data centres expand from hyper-scale campuses to edge facilities, one challenge remains constant, which is reliable and energy-efficient power. We are answering this challenge with breakthrough UPS innovations that combine resilience, efficiency and sustainability.
We have the Modulon DPH Series that delivers scalable power up to 12 MW through a modular, pay-as-you-grow design. Built-in self-diagnostics and hot-swappable modules ensure uptime without costly interruptions.
For space-constrained sites, Delta’s lithium-ion UPS solutions provide 2–3 times the battery life of traditional systems. This gets recharged up to ten times faster and cuts footprints dramatically. The integrated battery management enhances safety and lowers the total cost of ownership.
The new UZR Gen3 Li-ion system packs up to 470 kW into a standard rack. This clears valuable floor space while reducing energy waste. With certified triple safety redundancy, it combines performance with peace of mind.
Our UPS innovations are more than backup; they are enablers of sustainable and digital growth. From hyperscale reliability to edge-ready efficiency, we are redefining power resilience for the connected world.
How is Delta addressing the challenges of transitioning to DC power distribution in data centres?
Shifting from traditional AC power to DC distribution in data centres promises big efficiency gains, but the transition is not easy. Barriers like a lack of standards, ecosystem gaps, high retrofit costs, and limited experience of operators make it tough to deploy.
We are tackling these hurdles through real-world pilots and standards leadership. At COMPUTEX 2025, we showcased 800V DC in-row power shelves, e-Fuse protection and HVDC busbars, which are practical building blocks for safe, scalable DC data centres. We are also a key contributor to the Open Compute Project (OCP), helping define DC rack and battery standards to foster wider industry adoption.
