Datta Infra appoints Gnanajothi Anandan as EPC Head

Anandan brings over two decades of Renewable Energy and EPC experience to drive project execution and strategic growth.
Datta Power Infra Private Limited (Datta Infra), a rapidly growing company in India’s infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, has appointed Gnanajothi Anandan as its new Head – Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), effective March 2025. With over two decades of experience in the renewable energy sector, Gnanajothi joins the leadership team to spearhead Datta Infra’s major solar and wind EPC projects, significantly enhancing its project execution capabilities during a period of rapid expansion.
As Head of EPC, Gnanajothi will oversee critical functions across wind and solar projects, including engineering cost optimisation, construction productivity, contract finalisation, and other related functions to manage the project and site execution effectively. His mandate emphasises ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, while proactively mitigating potential challenges and fostering high-performance teams for seamless project delivery.

He has executed wind and solar projects in both package and full turnkey EPC modes across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, working with nodal agencies such as SECI, SJVN, and NTPC. He also possesses strong supplier management skills and deep industry knowledge across various technologies of solar and wind sectors.
Gnanajothi holds prestigious professional certifications, PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), and CCMAP-WCC (Advanced Commercial and Contracting) from world’s biggest professional community based in USA which helps in building the benchmarks projects across India and overseas. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf and exploring new destinations.
