Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd (DPIL) has secured order from AESL to supply high-performance conductors for various high-profile projects.
Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. (DPIL) received a ₹1,349.11 crore order from Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL) to supply high-performance conductors, according to an exchange filing. According to regulatory papers, the supply will support key transmission infrastructure for numerous high-profile projects. These include Jamnagar, Khavda IV D, HVDC, Navinal II, and Mahan II.
The project is scheduled to be completed by June 2028 and is expected to significantly increase Diamond Power’s order book and capabilities in delivering large-scale, high-voltage transmission systems. The contract will be implemented on a kilometre rate basis, using PV (Price Variation) Formulae. The AL-59 conductor, known for its high conductivity and lightweight design is essential in modern transmission networks that seek to reduce losses and increase efficiency. This decision also accords with the country’s efforts to improve grid reliability and promote renewable energy evacuation. We use cookies to personalize your experience.
