ERDA inaugurates solar power plant at Vadodara

ERDA has recently installed and commissioned 425 kWp grid connected solar rooftop power plant at its head office, Vadodara. This solar rooftop power plant has been installed on seven buildings of the Head Office, Vadodara. A total of 1350 PV panels have been installed, with each panel having a capacity of 315 Wp. The grid interconnection is at 11 kV voltage level. With commissioning of this system, ERDA will be able to generate about 5.95 L units of electricity, annually, which will result in savings of 46.4 L in electricity bill every year. The solar roof top plant was inaugurated on June 29, 2018 by ERDA President, Shri Y. V. Joshi.
