The nation’s solar growth trajectory is remarkable:

  • Solar Capacity: As of March 2025, India’s total installed solar capacity reached 105.65 GW, comprising 81 GW ground-mounted, 17 GW rooftop, and nearly 5 GW from hybrid and off-grid systems.
  • Annual Additions: FY 2024–25 saw a 58.5 percent year-over-year increase in solar installations, with rooftop solar growing by 72 percent and off-grid solar nearly tripling.
