Bergen Solar focusing on advanced Manufacturing techniques for long lasting solar panels
.

By leveraging state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and implementing stringent quality control measures, Bergen aims to provide consumers with durable solar solutions that stand the test of time.

Bergen Solar Power and Energy, a trailblazing company in the solar energy sector, has been at the forefront of revolutionising the energy landscape in India since its inception in 2005. From supplying solar modules to introducing cutting-edge manufacturing equipment for ingot wafer production, Bergen has brought solar technology to every corner of the nation. Dronveer shares his thoughts with the EPR Magazine.

How have rural electrification initiatives influenced solar adoption in India?

In its pursuit of technological excellence, Bergen Solar embarked on rural electrification initiatives as early as 2008. Through innovative schemes like the Kusum Solar Yojna, we facilitated the adoption of solar power across diverse sectors of Indian society. By providing solar solutions to over 40 villages and advocating for independent solar setups in both industrial and rural settings, Bergen has demonstrated the transformative potential for solar energy. We provide solar energy independent of the grid.

How does Bergen Solar plan to leverage PM Suryoday Yojna?

The recent unveiling of the PM Suryoday Yojna marks a significant milestone in India’s renewable energy journey. Bergen Solar sees this initiative as a catalyst for nationwide demand generation and a boon for domestic manufacturing. With a steadfast focus on enhancing the efficiency of solar modules, we aim to ensure that the benefits of the PM Suryoday Yojna trickle down to every household and business investing in solar energy.

What strategies do you plan to use to address the challenges and issues in the sector?

We are committed to technological innovation extending beyond mere efficiency improvements. With a vision to transition from Saraswati (knowledge) to Lakshmi (prosperity), Bergen Solar prioritises reliability and quality in every product it delivers. By leveraging state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and implementing stringent quality control measures, we aim to provide consumers with durable solar solutions that stand the test of time.

How do you see the Intersolar Expo, and what products or solutions did the company showcase at the event?

Bergen Solar recognises the importance of staying ahead of the curve in an industry characterised by rapid technological advancements. With new developments emerging every six months, the company is responsible for disseminating knowledge and awareness about the latest trends in solar technology. From the advent of higher-wattage panels to innovative testing methodologies, Bergen Solar remains at the forefront of driving progress in the solar sector. Today, 740 W panels are a new normal, and Bergen is responsible for bringing this knowledge to light. This event, InterSolar, provides that opportunity.

Speaking about the products and solutions, we showcased the recently introduced range of cutting-edge products to revolutionise solar panel manufacturing. The new stringers used to manufacture solar panel modules have increased the speed from 7000-9000. Also, in solution, Bergen is doing the non-destructive test that nobody else in the market has the facility. This ensures good quality of product manufacturing. With the introduction of the string repair machine, we aim for all the module manufacturers to reduce their cell breakages by up to 0.5- 0.6 percent, ultimately delivering superior-quality products to customers. Through our unwavering commitment to technological excellence and quality, we are poised to shape the future of solar energy in India.
