Godrej introduces solar carports at leading IT company in Noida

Spanning 31984 sq. mtr and equipped with over 1031 high-efficiency solar panels, the carport is designed to generate approximately 731900 kWh (units) annually.

The Energy Solutions business of Godrej Enterprises Group announced the successful commissioning of its first solar carport installation at a leading IT company in Noida. This landmark project reflects the Group’s commitment to engineering innovative, sustainable infrastructure that supports India’s renewable energy ambitions and the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Spanning 31,984 sq. mtr and equipped with over 1,031 high-efficiency solar panels, the carport is designed to generate approximately 731,900 kWh (units) annually. It will offset nearly 600,158 kg of CO₂ emissions every year, which is equivalent to planting over 27,568 mature trees. The dual-purpose structure not only provides shaded parking for 400 vehicles but also transforms underutilised urban spaces into renewable energy hubs.
