“Elecrama helps for the branding and helps us to reach the customers spread across the country at single point of the event. The professional approach and the focussed vision of Elecrama add to the business volume,” says Anurag Gupta, Director, Allied Power Solutions (APS). The company is an active participant of Elecrama since 2010.
He adds, “International players like HAKEL and LPI (Australia) are happy to participate in the show like Elecrama.” APS is the national distributor of Lightning Protection International (LPI)  Pty Ltd (Australia) and HAKEL (Czech Republic, Europe) for Indian market.
Innovative products “At APS, safety is uncompromised and our products speak for it,” claims Gupta. “HAKEL has invested in the new area of ‘Insulation Monitoring’ and come up with an innovative safety products to serve the electrical industry in a big way.”
In the segment of surge protection devices,  HAKEL has launched the safety products for the LED lighting application and also in the solar projects. LPI (Australia) has developed a new product of safety earth mat which features the mitigation of EPR hazards to personnel from lightning discharges and other fault currents injected into the ground.
Exploring  business in unrepresented area Elecrama has always provided the platform for the new business opportunities in unrepresented areas. “Hope this year also, we get some good business leads. It all depends upon the way Elecrama does the advertisement and pull the real and meaningful crowd to the show,” anticipates Gupta.
Positive waves in the industryMarket is opening up in a big way and the present government has created many positive waves. Recent initiatives like ‘Make in India’, digital India and smart cities, have boosted the energy generation, distribution and energy efficiency and conservation segments in the country.
“One of the key areas of development will continuous power across the country. Thus, in time to come, safety equipment will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth power supply,” states Gupta.
At APS, there is a clear roadmap to address this need of the industry and it is coming up with high-end devices with the support of HAKEL (Czech Republic, Europe) like surge protection devices for LED lights, insulation monitoring devices, and LPI (Australia) for the protection of utility and infrastructures from direct lightning strikes.
