Banmali Agrawala named President and CEO of GE India

General Electric Company Vice Chairman John Rice has announced the appointment of Banmali Agrawala as President and CEO of GE’s business operations in India. Effective April 1st, 2013, Mr Agrawala will succeed John Flannery who will move to the United States to take the role of Senior Vice President for business development, reporting directly to the CEO, Jeffrey Immelt. All GE’s business leaders in the country including the GE energy businesses will report directly to Mr Agrawala, who will report to GE Vice Chairman John Rice.
