Cooper Corporation exported its first batch of ECOPACK diesel generators to Ukraine in Eastern Europe with a long-term contract for supply of Cooper gensets in all the power ratings from 15 KVA to 180 KVA. Cooper Corporation is amongst the few Indian companies to foray into the European market. Best-in-class fuel consumption and long service intervals thereby lower maintenance costs plays a key decider favoring Cooper Corporation Gensets against global competition. Some special fitments have been incorporated to the gensets to meet the European customer requirements. The 10 KVA to 180 KVA genset range is powered by a 2, 3, 4 and 6 cylinder Cooper engines in line, 4-valve, and liquid cooled, Cooper diesel engine, based on state-of-the-art CRDi technology. This stand-apart genre of power generators is entirely produced at Cooper Corporation’s assembly plant located at Satara, Maharashtra. Commenting on the first export of Cooper Corp’s Diesel Generator, Farrokh N. Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director says, “This successful venture sets a global platform for Cooper Corporation, as our gensets enjoy a unique position among other diesel power generators. These gensets have been fitted with special fitments to sustain in extremely low temperatures and meet customer requirements in European countries. If our Engines can sustain harsh weather conditions like Ukraine, then climates like Shimla and Ooty are nothing to worry about for Cooper gensets.”
