IEEMA to host international seminar on EHV electrical insulatorIEEMA, the apex association of electrical equipment manufacturers in India, along with the Central Electricity Authority, Ministry of Power under the Government of India will be hosting an international seminar on the electrical insulator industry, which would see renowned domestic and international experts share their experiences on the latest global trends in extra high voltage insulator selection for different voltages and environments.The event to be held on September 25th in New Delhi, will bring together eminent experts who would showcase different types of insulators, present developments in insulator materials, design and performance characteristics besides specifying the right insulator for a particular environment based on life cycle cost. The seminar will also focus on the current ongoing field testing and experiments and identify the areas where existing testing standards on insulators need to be improved.
