Indsur Group, a major producer of power infrastructure castings, auto components and thermal engineering, has announced that its US arm Indsur Stelcore Inc. has bagged an order aggregating Rs. 500 crore from a Mexican firm for supply of about 1 lakh tonnes of steel plates.
“Getting such a large order from Mexico, amidst stiff competition from Korea and China, not only proves our competitiveness but also opens up a huge market for us in Latin America, Middle East and European countries,” said Amit Lodha, Director and President, Indsur Stelcore. He added, “We are confident of making further in-roads in these lucrative markets backed by technologically superior products at competitive prices.”
Indsur’s casting plant is the largest exporter of power infrastructure castings and has a major presence in Europe.
