Mahila Mission 20, project of KBL’s Coimbatore plant, becomes a national record by assembling pumps in a record time of 17.25 seconds
Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. (KBL), one of the leading global fluid management companies, announced that its all-women Coimbatore plant has set another benchmark and bagged a prestigious award by the Limca Book of Records for its project “Mahila Mission 20”. The project has achieved a milestone of assembling a pump in a rare feat time of 17.25 seconds, making it a national record.
The silver jubilee of the Limca Book of Records dedicated to the cause of empowering women honored Dr R. V. Rajkumar with the recognition on behalf of the entire female workforce of Kirloskar Brothers Ltd., Coimbatore plant. The award was offered in the presence of numerous dignitaries, leaders, decision makers and bureaucrats from various participating companies.
