Mumbai airport to generate 16.24 lakh units of electricity annually

In sync with the Indian government’s ambitious target of having 100 GW of solar power generation capacity by 2022, Mumbai International Airport, has successfully commissioned additional solar power of 410 kWp. The solar panels, spread across five different locations at the T2 and cargo terminals, have been strategically positioned on the roof tops of the building for optimum utilisation of space at the airport.
