Perkins appoints Pankaj Jha as South Asia Marketing Manager

Perkins Engines Company Ltd. has announced the appointment of Pankaj Jha as South Asia Marketing Manager. Pankaj, in his new role, will report to Nigel Baseley, Marketing Director, and will oversee the company’s Indian marketing operations. He will be responsible for leading Perkins marketing activities to build the brand and drive sales growth; supporting and working alongside distributors and OEMs with a focus on the 4000 Series, and strengthening Perkins position in the wider region.With Perkins set to begin manufacturing its powerful 4000 Series engines in India next year, this latest appointment reinforces the company’s strategic commitment to the country. Pankaj joins Perkins with an experience of over 11 years of progressive management level experience in strategy, growth analysis, due diligence, marketing and product development, having worked in the areas of policy, commercial vehicle technology, market development and business development.
