Powergrid to strengthen transmission systems
Powergrid’s board of directors during their meeting on 26th September 2012, approved investment of Rs. 1,327.74 crore for strengthening two transmission systems in the Northern region.
For, Northern Region System strengthening scheme- XXVI’, the company will be investing Rs. 803.34 crore with commissioning schedule of 30 months from the date of investment approval.
PGCIL will also be investing Rs. 524.40 crore for Northern Region System Strengthening scheme – XXVIII with commissioning schedule of 32 months from the date of investment approval.
