Petronet LNG Limited has appointed Prabhat Singh as its MD and CEO. Mr Prabhat is a Civil Engineer having graduated from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and brings to his new role around 35 years of relevant experience of working in the hydrocarbon industry both in MNC and Public Sector Maharatna PSUs.
He has been Director of Marketing of GAIL (India) since February 24, 2010. He also served as the Chairman of Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private Limited (erstwhile Dabhol Power Company) and during his tenure has commissioned the 5 MMTPA LNG regasification terminal at Ratnagiri.
