Prime Electric wins new order from VietnamPrime Electric Ltd., one of the leading EHV power transformer manufacturers, wins a prestigious order for generator transformer (22/27.5 MVA 10.5/115kV) from Vietnam.The most modern, fully integrated and fully air-conditioned plant is set up for manufacture of power transformers up to 765 kV, which will be further expanded to 1,200 kV in due course. The plant has complete facilities, including CRGO, cut-to-length and slitting plant, vertical/horizontal winding machines , PICC plant, tank manufacturing facilities with most modern machines, and static test system from high volt of Germany — first of its kind in India, giving huge advantage to PEL over others in the country. PEL has already bagged major orders from leading organisations, utilities within the country as well as from abroad with the expansion of its capacity to 35,000MVA/1200kV. PEL is poised to become one of the largest power transformer manufacturers in the country.
