Industry overview  Briefing on the recent performance of electrical equipment market in India, Rajesh Kumar, CFO and Joint MD, Salzer Electronics Ltd says, “Turn around growth for transformers, conductors and meters is witnessed during first quarter of FY 16  led by heavy weight sectors like wires  and cables, and aluminium conductors only. On the other hand, medium and high voltage switchgears has declined by 5.3 per cent.”
He also notices, “Capacitor business has seen huge growth earlier and has declined in the first quarter. 10 per cent decline in transformer and transmission lines is a concern despite volume growth.”
